Welcome to Iron Cat on Tour, we are Ken and Tracey and we hope to share our experiences not experience, for we are the proverbial novices, but have developed the love of being in a motorhome here in the UK and abroad, practicing for our retirement wherever and whenever that may be.
We are both outdoor people and we love to walk, cycle and explore anywhere we happen to be, I have to say we can also be the complete holiday slobs and are equally at home lying on a sun bed soaking up the rays, but it will not take too much for us to be looking at what there is to do and where we can go!
In one way or another we have both been fortunate to have experience of travel. Tracey’s parents, especially her mother, exposed her to broad European adventures in the 60s & 70s taking on driving trips as far afield as Greece, I on the other hand was privileged to have worked for a company that sent me to destinations from Shetland to South Africa with many places in between.
All of these adventures planted the seed that would grow into the wanderlust we now have to travel and explore.
